Overview
HQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a software design and development agency based in Ogden, Utah. This policy describes how we handle information you submit when reaching out to us. We keep our data practices simple: we collect only what we need to respond to your inquiry, and we don’t sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect:
- Your name — so we know who we’re talking to
- Your email address — so we can reply
- A description of your project or question — so we can give you a useful response
We don’t collect payment information, government IDs, or any other sensitive personal data through this site.
How we use it
We use your contact information solely to respond to your inquiry and, if there’s a fit, to continue the conversation about working together. We do not add you to a marketing list, subscribe you to a newsletter, or pass your information to any third party for outreach purposes.
Data retention
We retain inquiry information for the duration of any business relationship or ongoing conversation. If no engagement follows an initial inquiry, we keep records for a reasonable period to support future communication, then delete them. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Third-party tools
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic on this site. Vercel Analytics collects anonymized page view data (which pages were visited, in what sequence, from what country) and does not track individual users or store personally identifiable information. We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors find and move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes your data under Google’s own privacy policy. We also use Apollo.io, the sales software we use to follow up with businesses. It records the pages you visit and the site that sent you, so we can see which companies have looked at our work, and it stores an anonymous ID in your browser to do that. We do not use advertising pixels or run ad retargeting on this site.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party.
Cookies
We set essential session cookies required for the site to function correctly. Google Analytics also sets its own cookies to measure repeat visits and traffic sources. No cookies on this site are used for advertising or cross-site identification, and we do not sell the data they collect. You can block these cookies in your browser or with an ad blocker without losing any site functionality.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to request that we delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
