1) The vision

BodyAudit turns complex health data into clear, actionable insights—showing users a full picture of their overall health. At its core, BodyAudit set out to create a platform that evolves alongside its users throughout their lifetime, offering deep insight, convenience, and personalized care.

In practice, that meant creating an interface that:

  • Displays proprietary BodyAudit Age and Health Scores with overviews and key action items for improvements
  • Groups biomarkers into meaningful categories to help users easily track progress and focus their efforts
  • Enables effortless social sharing to foster community and engagement
  • Runs as a headless, full-stack implementation built on Shopify, Recharge, and third-party lab APIs
  • Delivers AI-powered analytics, summaries, explanations, and recommendations
  • Includes robust platform features for subscription management, engagement, and retention

2) The design

The BodyAudit team described their product as minimal, modern, visual, and approachable—never intimidating or overwhelming. With those principles as our guide, we developed a crisp, data-driven brand identity that blends simple design with a distinctly tech-forward aesthetic. The green and yellow palette plays on intuitive color theory to signal positive and negative trends, while the mix of sans-serif and monospaced fonts reinforces BodyAudit’s promise: empowering users to understand and improve their health through clarity, not clutter.

Key design features include:

  • Flexible data views: Complementary category and list layouts for biomarkers and recommended actions let users explore their data however they prefer.
  • Concise, actionable summaries: Reports distill individual biomarkers into clear insights and next steps.
  • Visual depth: A variety of charts from Shadcn provide multiple ways to interpret trends and track progress.
  • Streamlined subscriptions: Simplified payment and shipping flows include options to fast-track a panel, skip a shipment, or manage preferences—all powered by Recharge integrations.

To cap it off, we designed shareable social screens for Instagram and other platforms that let users proudly showcase their BodyAudit Age and Health Scores with their community.

3) The development

To bring the BodyAudit experience to life, our engineering team built a custom headless architecture that combines Shopify for e-commerce and authentication with a flexible backend designed to integrate seamlessly with third-party lab APIs. The platform manages the entire journey, from kit purchase and registration to data ingestion and result visualization, through one unified dashboard grounded in the new brand identity.

Built for scalability, the underlying architecture supports future AI coaching, predictive insights, and additional partner integrations without major redevelopment. The result is a robust, adaptable foundation that powers BodyAudit’s vision for personalized, lifelong health intelligence.
